Manchester City`s title hopes were dealt a blow when they fell 2-1 away to Newcastle on Tuesday night, but with Liverpool drawing at home to Leicester City on Wednesday, the damage was limited. Next up, they host an Arsenal side who kick off in fifth place after Chelsea leapfrogged them on Saturday following their win over Huddersfield Town.

Pep Guardiola`s men were expected to run away with the Premier League title this season, but Jurgen Klopp`s Liverpool failed to read the scri pt. The Reds currently have a five-point lead, but don`t play until Monday night. A win for the Citizens would move them to within two points of their rivals, putting extra pressure on them ahead of Monday`s game at West Ham.

The Sky Blues have scored two goals or more in each of their last 13 home games in the league and scored three or more in nine of them. Their only defeat in their last 15 league home matches came against Crystal Palace back in December.

Meanwhile, Arsenal arrive here on the back of two-straight home wins in the league, the first against Chelsea the second against Cardiff City. However, they have struggled away from home, their last win coming at Bournemouth in November. Three of their last four away matches ended in defeat, to Southampton, Liverpool and West Ham United.
