Burnley`s task of halting a seven-game winless streak will not get any easier on Wednesday night when they welcome a Liverpool side unbeaten in their last 15 Premier League matches.

After finishing seventh and qualifying for Europe last season, Burnley have suffered a rapid and worrying decline. Sean Dyche`s men must now face up to the reality that they are involved in a relegation battle.

They have already lost nine matches, just three less than the whole of last term, and only have nine points to their name. Currently placed 19th, they could find themselves at the bottom of the table if results do not go their way on Wednesday.

The Clarets have lost five of their last six including their last two at home. The 4-0 win over Bournemouth back in September was their only home win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Liverpool arrive here on the back of their dramatic last minute victory over arch rivals Everton which kept them in touching distance of league leaders Manchester City. With City also beating Watford on Tuesday, the Reds will be playing catch up again.

Klopp`s men came away with all three points from this fixture last year against an in-form Burnley team. Anything less this week would be a disastrous result for the Anfield club.

Changes can be expected with Divock Origi and Alberto Moreno both in line for a start as Klopp looks to rest some key players.
