Leicester City vs AFC Bournemouth - Premier League preview and odds

May 21, 2017 15:00pm - King Power Stadium

Premier League

Leicester City and Bournemouth will both be targeting a top 10 finish when they go head-to-head at the King Power stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Goals could be on the agenda as mid-table neighbours battle it out

With just two wins in their last seven matches, Leicester City`s revival under Craig Shakespeare looks to have been short-lived. Last time out the former Premier League champions fell 1-6 at home to Tottenham Hotspur and must now win their last game to stand any chance of finishing in the top 10.

On a positive note, the Foxes at least kept themselves clear of the relegation battle that appeared to be looming towards the end of Claudio Ranieri`s reign just a couple of months ago. During their recent run, they have lost four game against teams in the top seven and their overall home record is still good with five wins in their last six.

Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth arrive in the East Midland unbeaten in four, having won three and drawn one, albeit against teams in the bottom seven. Away from home, their record does not make such pleasant reading with just one win in their last eight and three wins overall, once again against bottom seven teams.

With both sides playing for league position, this could be an open and entertaining game. Six of Bournemouth`s last seven games have produced three goals or more and six of Leicester`s last eight at home have also featured three goals or more.
