Champions League preview and odds: Arsenal vs. Dinamo Zagreb

November 24, 2015 19:45pm - Emirates Stadium

Champions League

The bottom two teams in Group F will go head-to-head on Tuesday night as Premier League big guns Arsenal welcome Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb to the Emirates Stadium for a crucial Champions League clash.

Must-win game for Gunners

Arsenal will have to put fresh injury issues behind them when they line up against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday. With just three points to show from the four games that they have played so far, the North London club are on the verge of exiting the tournament at the group stage for the first time in 13 years.

The Gunners have won just one of their last five matches in all competitions and come into this game on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to West Bromwich Albion in the latest round of the Barclays Premier League. When these two teams met back in September, it was the Croatian side that prevailed by a 2-1 score-line.

Arsenal need to win on Tuesday night and then beat Olympiakos away from home by at least two-goals in the final match to sneak into the knockout stages.

Dinamo hoping for Europa League spot

Dinamo Zagreb will be hoping to pick a valuable win in London as they attempt to seal third place in Group F. Having already lost home and away to Olympiakos, the best that the Croatians can hope for is a Europa League place. If they can beat the Gunners, they will go into the last game at home to Bayern Munich with their fate in their own hands. Team news

Francis Coquelin and Mikel Arteta have joined the Arsenal injury list alongside Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain, while Aaron Ramsey is in line for a return. .

Betting odds and tips

Arsenal have struggled in this competition but they did show their quality in the home match against Bayern Munich. They should have enough to see off their opponents on Tuesday but there is little value in backing a home win.

Arsenal have scored in 13 of their last 14 Champions League home matches, while Dinamo Zagreb have scored in nine of their last 10 Champions League away games. You can back Both Teams to Score at Evens with Bet365.
