La Liga minnows Eibar will be aiming to halt their winless streak when league leaders Barcelona pay a visit to the Basque Country on Sunday afternoon.
Eibar all but safe
Eibar`s main objective this season would have been to retain their La Liga status for a third straight season. With 27 games gone and 36 points on the board, Jose Mendilibar`s men appear to be well on course to achieve their goal.
The smallest team in the league are currently sat in eight place but a run of six defeats in the last seven games has raised a few concerns. If they continue to lose matches, they could find themselves sinking fast through the congested mid-table area.
They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Sevilla and prior to that, they were undone by the same score-line at home to Las Palmas.
Barca looking to get the job done
Barcelona have an eight-point gap at the top of La Liga and look to be on course for a yet another league title. However, Coach Luis Enrique will want to avoid any complacency heading into the last 10 games.
The Catalan team are currently enjoying a 35-game unbeaten run in all competitions, and a 20-game unbeaten run in La Liga. In addition, they have won their last 10 league games in a row.
In their last league game, they strolled to a 5-1 win away to Rayo Vallecano in Madrid.
Team news
Lillo Castellano will be suspended for the home side, while Jota Peleteiro, Ekiza, Keko, Luna and Jaime are all injured.
Meanwhile, only Rafinha in unavailable for the visitors.
