Premier League preview and odds: Aston Villa vs. Man City

Published on: 06/11/2015

The good news for the Frenchman is that Villa are still just four points from safety with 27 games remaining in which to turn things around.

City starting to dominate again

Manchester City have won 14 of their last 17 games in the Premier League and are currently on an unbeaten run of four games. The back-to-back defeats against West Ham and Tottenham and the draw at Old Trafford are the only blemishes on their record this season.

However, it has not been an easy ride for Manuel Pellegrini’s men as last week’s narrow win against Norwich proved. In the end it took a late penalty for the Citizens to finally overcome a resilient performance from the Canaries.

Team news

Remi Garde will be boosted by the fact that he has the luxury of a full squad to choose from.

Meanwhile, the vistors are still without a host of top names including the injured quartet of Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta.
