Another three points would all but confirm Watford`s Premier League status for another season, while a win for Bournemouth would give their own survival quest a massive boost.

But will either side have what it takes to come on top when they go head-to-head at Vicarage Road this weekend?

Watford targeting top-half finish

Watford have already defied many of their pre-season sceptics by steering clear of the relegation battle. They will now try to top off an impressive campaign by securing a top 10 finish in the league.

Last time out, the Hornets edged to a 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace and rose to ninth in the Premier League table. A win this weekend should be enough to ensure that Vicarage Road will be hosting Premier League football next season.

Bournemouth need a win to calm the nerves

With a dozen games to go, Bournemouth are sitting just four points above the Premier League drop zone. A recent pair of home defeats has not helped their cause and they now face the prospect of being dragged into a relegation fight.

In their last game, they were easily beaten 3-1 at home to Stoke City and prior to that they were undone 2-0 by a clinical Arsenal side. The good news for the Cherries is that their away form has been slightly better. In fact, they have lost just one of their last seven on the road.

Team news

The home side will be without Jose Juradu Marin and Joel Ekstrand.

Meanwhile, the visitors will be without Lewis Grabban, Callum Wilson and Max Gradel.
