Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Greece - World Cup Qualification Europe Preview and Odds

June 09, 2017 19:45pm - Stadion Bilino Polje

World Cup Qualification - Group H

Two teams with their World Cup qualification hopes very much alive will go head to head on Friday as Bosnia-Herzegovina welcome Greece to the Stadion Bilino Polje for this crucial Group H clash.

The hosts are currently sat in third place in the group just three points adrift of leaders Belgium - the only team to have beaten the Bosnians in the current campaign. They come into this game on the back of a 5-0 win away to Gibraltar. Prior to that, they held the Greeks to a draw in Piraeus. A home win against the same team would put them right in contention for a place in the top two.

If they make it that far, they will be hoping to avoid the disappointment they suffered when falling to Republic of Ireland in the Euro 2016 play-offs. Since then, they have played 11, won seven, drawn two and lost two in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Greece are progressing well under the guidance of German Coach Michael Skibbe, They remain unbeaten in Group H and are just two points adrift of pace-setters Belgium with whom they drew 1-1 away from home last time out. This is in stark contrast to their Euro 2016 qualification campaign when they finished bottom of their group.

In the last 12 months, the Greeks have lost just one game, a friendly against Belarus, having also won five and drawn two.

You can back the home win at 6/4 and Edin Dzeko to score anytime at 5/4 - both with Bet365.
