Switzerland will look to maintain their 100% record in Group B by overcoming the challenge of the tricky Islanders on Friday night. The visitors are favourites to top the group and are expected to progress along with European champions Portugal who they defeated on matchday one.

Despite heading the group undefeated, the Swiss have not always been entirely convincing. They edged to a 2-1 win in Andorra, and beat unfancied Latvia by just a single goal, either side of a 2-0 win over this week`s opponents on home soil.

Meanwhile, the Faroe Islands will be looking to remain in contention for third place in Group B by becoming the first team to take points off the current leaders. With five points already in the bag, the Islanders have shown that they are more than capable of competing with more heavyweight teams. And while a victory might be too much to ask from the minnows, they are capable of shutting out the opposition if they defend at their best.

With three clean sheets in their five games so far, it is clear where the Faroes` strength lies. They will be further boosted by the fact that they restricted the Swiss to a 2-0 victory when the teams met in Luzern back in November.

With qualification an unrealistic target for the Faroe Islands, their triumphs will be measured by individual results. As a result, they will look to put in a strong defensive display here and frustrate the group leaders.
