Despite making up the smallest field since 2000, the 14 entries for Champion bumper should provide an entertaining race.
Envoi Allen looks like the one to beat having already racked up three bumper wins. However, he was tested by Meticulous (who also runs here) last time out and could find the conditions moving against him here. That could bring Meticulous into contention. He was finishing well when second to Envoi Allen at Leopardstown and has big chance to take revenge here.
Master Debonair has course and distance experience and that could give him an advantage over some of the unproven entries here. At 12/1, he looks the pick of the each-way options.
Willie Mullins has won this nine times and landed a 1-2-3 last year. This year, the Irishman is pinning his hopes on four-year-old Blue Sari, who cruised to an 11-length win on debut at Gowran Park at the end of January. The short price of 3/1 is not without justification.
