Glenloe will start off as favourite here having been prepped for this event since impressing at Leopardstown in the winter. This race hasn`t been a happy hunting ground for owmer JP Mcmanus, who also has two more strong contenders in the shape of Sort It Out and Protek Des Flos, but that could all change on Thursday.
Of the three entries, catches this eye thanks to his long price, no doubt a result of his poor run at Huntingdon last time out. However, he proved himself on heavy ground at Wincanton during the festive period and that could help him here as the others get leggy late on. With a price of 20/1 available at the time of writing, he is certainly one for the each-way bettors to consider.
Sort It Out should not be ruled out either. The McManus runner has shown some fighting character as well as some pace in recent races and many feel he is the type of horse that is built for this notoriously tough race. But it is case of promise rather than proven quality for the 12/1.
