Leicester City vs West Bromwich Albion - Premier League Preview and Odds

October 16, 2017 20:00pm - King Power Stadium

Premier League

Two sides without a win in their last five games will go head-to-head on Monday night as Leicester City host West Bromwich Albion at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester`s Premier League title win is now fading into a distant memory as the club and fans once again face up to the reality that they could already be fighting a relegation battle. The Foxes have won just one of their last 10 Premier League matches, stretching back to the end of last season, and they are already sat in the bottom three with a total of five points from seven games.

Craig Shakespeare`s men won their first home game of the season against newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion but lost their next two against Liverpool and Chelsea. However, they have scored at least once in all of their home fixtures They will view this game as the perfect chance to lift themselves out of the bottom three.

West Bromwich Albion are winless in their last five Premier League matches but remain in 11th place with a total of nine points. Six of those points were earned in their opening two fixtures but they failed to build on that strong start. Last time out, they were held 2-2 at home by Watford and they lost their last two away fixtures at Arsenal and Brighton.

Betting odds and tips

The Baggies have yet to draw away from home this term, while Leicester have yet to draw at home. It should also be considered that each of Leicester`s four defeats this season have come against sides who finished in the top four in the last campaign. As a result, the home side should be fancied to edge past their rivals on Monday night.

Four of the last five games between the two teams have produced over 2.5 goals, so that result should also be considered.

You can back the home win at Evens and over 2.5 goals at 11/10 with bet365.
