Crystal Palace are one of five teams yet to pick up a point in the 2017/18 Premier League campaign. They will look to rectify that when they host fellow relegation candidates Swansea City at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles were stunned 0-3 by newly-promoted Huddersfield Town on the opening day but then fared slightly better when falling 1-0 away to Liverpool. Despite their failure to score in the league, they did get some shooting practice against Ipswich Town in Wednesday`s League Cup tie in which they found the net twice through James McArthur.

Palace have looked much weaker at the back since Mamadou Sakho returned to parent club Liverpool and they have yet to recruit a suitable replacement. With Swansea expected to hand some game time to Fernando Lorente, that defence could be severely tested again here.

Meanwhile, Swansea City have also failed to find the net this season but do have a point on the board following a goalless draw at Southampton on the opening day. They looked to be holding their own at home to Manchester United last time out until they fell apart in the last 10 minutes, eventually conceding four.

Paul Clement`s men come into this game on the back of a 4-1 League Cup win at MK Dons in midweek and will be hoping to carry forward some momentum from that game.

Much could depend on whether Fernando Llorente returns for the Swans in this game. With league goals hard to come by, the return of the club`s top scorer from last term could hand them the edge in this fixture.
